Good Morning Super Students, happy Monday. A few things planned this week. We are going to take some time this morning to set up our friction lab tomorrow. If you volunteered to bring in a supply for your group make sure that it is here tomorrow. If you brought it today, just put in one of the bins with the rest of your groups supplies.
Tomorrow is book check out, make sure to bring in your books from home tomorrow.
Thursday we will also be taking some time in math to do coding! What is coding...read here for a brief description.
Last thing, if you have not brought in your Deep Portage Emergency form or your Permission slip, that NEEDS to be brought back by Friday.
Good Morning World Changers! I have a meeting with Ms. Froiland this morning. Please come in and get started quietly. I expect when I come back into the classroom around 7:20 that we are all on task...that means making lunch choices, morning math work, finishing homework, chairs down, garbages away..etc
End of Trimester 1 is also today! Whew...you are now a 5th and 1/3 grader.
There is still one more student who needs to complete their competition for this month but this will give most of you a good idea of where you fall.
Congrats to Alex and Gage for scoring 6's during this months meet. The problems once again proved to be very tough and thought provoking! Current standings for Schiffler/Hopper/Bila's classes only. There were a few kids that performed really well the first time but fell out of the top 10 this time, while others who may not have been top dogs last time, performed consistently on both and found their way into the top 10! Congrats again to all, as you all worked very hard.

Below is an awesome new site Ms. Hopper found and shared with me, Padlet.com. There is a lot more to it then what you see below but what makes it super cool is I can embed it in our site and then the possibilities are endless! Sometimes I may ask for you to sign your name and own your work, other times complete privacy is ok, hopefully it will help people post what they really feel without any way of being judged.
But remember with that great power comes great responsibility. We are only going to use it for positive words or encouraging ones if we choose to post next to someones post.
