Minnesotans at the Olympics

One of my favorite things in life, unfortunately only happen every 4 years, well 2 years if you count winter and spring, the Olympics! This year they will be taking place in Sochi, Russia. Not only is it amazing to watch some of the best athletes on the planet but it gives us a perfect opportunity to discuss the many different countries. We will be holding our own classroom Olympics! Students will choose a country to compete for and do their own research to learn about their  country as well as earn medals for various classroom "events".
