An awesome resource one of my students found today while looking up his favorite author/books. It's called GoComics.com and is a website dedicated to daily comics. You can create an account and personalize it to choose which ever comics you are interested in and they will be delivered to your app (mobile device) or to your computer daily! How awesome! It's like the Sunday comics everyday :)

Our Zoo trip is finally here! Mother nature doesn't look like she is willing to cooperate with us very well but the good news is our zoo class and a large number of animals are indoors! Because the weather is going to be cold, please make sure your child has dressed accordingly if their group does go outside to see some of the larger animals (moose, tiger, bear...etc). I also remind students that whatever they bring into the zoo they need to carry with them the entire time, not their chaperone! If they would like to pack a little extra lunch, camera, sweatshirt...etc, a drawstring bag has really been a winner in the years past! Please remember to pick your child up at 5:00-5:15. We do our best to get back at 5:00 but are really at the mercy of Twin Cities traffic and even the weather this year. Please refer to your reminder letter sent home today or view it here.
