A little plug for the baseball team. Mr. Shaughnessy, 5th grade teacher and good friend, is head coach of the baseball team and they have a really good fundraiser going on, something you will use and worth the money. They are selling softwater salt, $6 and $7 a bag, no limit farmers :)
They are also selling Dutchmen clothing, some advertises baseball but most of it uses a generic "Dutchmen" logo, which is awesome for everyone, not just baseball fans. If you would like to place an order I can forward any messages to him and take care of it!

Below is a map of the MN Zoo if you'd like to get a head start planning your groups route. The weather is shaping up to be very nice, fingers crossed there is no precipitation! What I have found works the best is to conquer the indoor stuff first (tropics trail, aquarium and the Minn. trail). Those are the biggest bang for your buck items. If your group is able to make their way through all those items in a timely fashion they will definitely have time to hit the larger outdoor exhibits (Russian Coast and Northern Trail). Once again, we do the Russian exhibit first because it is closest to the buses and if time is short you can always run back quick!
I will send home an itinerary the night before the zoo and let you know of any special events (bird shows, feedings..etc) that you can try and schedule if your group chooses! There will be a pep fest at 2:25 on Tuesday afternoon in the gym if any parents or community members would like to attend. Please remember, school will also be 2 hours late Thursday due to the late game on Wednesday evening. There will also be a fan bus/es going to the game. Charge is $9, contact Jonathan Ruoff in the High School Office if you'd like tickets or to sign up for the bus.
