Good Morning World Changers, Happy midweek once again. The weeks continue to fly by and we once again have another 50 degree day in our future :)
We have a few things going on today to keep in mind: We have book checkout at 8:00, please place any books you need checked in on my desk, I will not remind you today other than this post, please help your classmates remember!
Those of you that help Mr. Hanks as mentors for groups have that today as well, thank you all for being amazing students setting a great example for the rest of the school!
Today is also national read-a-loud day. We are lucky enough to have some Sauk Rapids/Rice high school students coming in to read with us at 9:30 - 10:00 so switching will be short.
Busy, busy day but I am ready for it...are you?
Parents, I also printed your SeeSaw log in information, look for that in your students backpacks today and I look forward to sharing your child's work with you!
Good Morning World Changers! What an awesome day to be at school!
Today is the start of MakersSpace. We will have a few people going today but only those that don't have missing assignments and I feel have been awesome students the last few days.
Also, I put up a job chart on the whiteboard to help get things done around the room...please take a look at the board to see if your name is there.
Also, Miss Moening needs you to cut out some science papers for science today...please get that taken care of ASAP! Lets make today an awesome one.
Good Morning Super Students! Today is a Day 4, Art with Mr. Parker...maybe take some time to look up examples of graffiti this morning to give you some ideas of what to draw today!
If you could pull out your Mean Median and Mode homework from Tuesday night so I can take a quick peek at it I would appreciate it.
Also, I added a few items for most of you to SeeSaw, if you could comment and write a reflection this morning that would be awesome. Also, we need to delete all the posts with our MAPs scores on them so I can open up the feed to the whole class. Let's make today a good one!
Good Morning World Changers, today is a C day which means we have book checkout and Phy Ed. Remember we are skiing and sledding this morning with Mr. Robinet, have your choice ready when you get there!
You need to finish cutting out any of the 6 science organizers you have left. You also NEED to have them glued in, 3 on a page. 3 on front, 3 on the back!
We are also reading with Ms. Drewsow's class at 8:05, which means we need to go pick out picture books to read to them at 7:50, you will only have 10 minutes to get a book and then we will go straight into her room and then to Phy Ed.
Good Morning World Changers, a busy day today. We are going to be the first class to have access to the book fair. If you have money you may bring it with, grab that from your locker this morning.
We also have book checkout right after but it will be abbreviated so make your choices quickly. The coordinate plane test will also be taking place tomorrow morning.
Good Morning World Changers, I am completely obsessed with changing our way of thinking! I've always been someone who has strived to see the positives in life but sometimes get stuck and sucked into thinking negatively, it's contagious. As the people around us begin to think negatively, as do we. But we can stop the cycle by having a growth mindset..always thinking about growing and becoming better at our craft. I found an awesome blog by a middle school teacher, please read both Darth Vader and Yoda's take on Fixed vs Growth Mindsets.
Copy both images into seesaw and record a reflection about what you learned/read.
