Good Morning Super Students! Below is a link to Quizizz.com that includes the web address and game code. If you would like to begin answering the questions this morning I think that would be fine....but you need to keep the window open until math then. We will try it!? You need to include your first name as the username and I turned off the timer. There is no bonus for faster answers, just correct ones! However, there is a timer for each question to ensure you don't stay on it to long. YOU NEED TO USE A NOTEBOOK AND CALCULATOR....no mental math! Remember we are working on our accuracy and making sure we feel good about what we select! We are also going to be using this resource to practice and review a few things with fractions.

Thank you Mrs. E for coming and sharing your time and stories with us today! Pretty amazing how much good stuff there is out there on the internet, you just need to know where to search and not be distracted by sources that are not legit!
Good Morning Super Students,
Please make sure to check the makers space schedule a few posts below! Looking around the room this morning, our cubby spaces are looking a little out of sorts. If you could please take some time to clean them up I would appreciate it! You may also need to finish your rough draft of your envelope and the first page of the fraction homework from yesterday. See below for todays math schedule. Good Morning Super Students! Remember today is Day 2 of our practice test. To be prepared this morning, get out your iPads and your answer sheet from yesterday. Please make sure you come in and have your iPad and headphones ready for the day. You probably won't be able to use your headphones on the reading portion of the sample test but we can at least test them.

Good Morning Super Students!
Unfortunately I am at home with sick kiddos and am sick myself but I will rest up and be ready to go on Monday! Again thank you for an awesome day yesterday and I hope you enjoyed the play! Today, we have the UofM Raptor Center show at 9:50. Please sit in the back where we usually do for shows in the gym and remember to enter quietly to not fluster the birds! After the show Ms. Hendry will be doing a directed drawing with you, video taped by Mr. Parker! You will need a sharp pencil and blank paper for that. Maybe get that ready in the morning when you come in...help your classmates be prepared! 11:30 - 12:10 Scholastic News - Read the articles below, links are highlighted blue! "A Big Deal" is an article from our most recent Scholastic news. You may read digitally or grab the paper copy (Wild Board on cover on my desk) "Alaska Kids" Please read the above two articles and respond in the comment section with your name attached to this question: “Do you think the Alaska purchase was a folly? Why or why not and provide text evidence to support your answer” Type your answer in an app first and then copy and paste into the comment section just in case you don't finish before lunch and lose all your typed information. A great idea would also be to write in a notebook first. You may do other research via google about the Alaska purchase 150 years ago to help support your answer. Answers should be in paragraph form and 5 sentences long: Sentence 1 - Statement or what side of the argument are you on Sentences 2-4 - 3 details or evidence statements supporting your opinion Sentence 5 - Conclusion statement |
